PET Bottles
Who We Supply
“APC did not arrive at bottles by way of packaging. We arrived by way of steel.
Our forefathers worked the forge. They heated metal until it gave, shaped it, and held it to a tolerance no eye could check and no hand could fake. That habit of exactness built a manufacturing business, and that business became a name Pakistan Railways and the country’s defence sector learned to depend on. We did not take in jobs. We built the components they ran on, machined to spec and dimensionally accountable. A part either fit or it did not.
In 1996, under our parent company Progressive Engineers (est. 1970), we entered glass.
Then the market began to move. Between 1995 and 2000, Pakistan turned toward PET, and we could see it was not a passing trend but a change in how everything would be packaged. We entered the only way our history allowed. We started at the tooling.
Before we made a single bottle, we made the moulds that made them. Preform moulds. Blowform moulds. Core and cavity cut, finished, and delivered to the pioneers of this industry, the men who built PET manufacturing in Pakistan and could not shape one bottle without steel cut true. Every neck finish, every gram of shot weight, every cavity holding the same geometry as the one beside it. Their first bottles carried our tooling. Their standard was, quite literally, ours.
In time we did what the manufacturer of the tool always ends up doing. We began making the product ourselves.
Nearly three decades later, this is still the work. Not just bottles, but wall distribution held consistent through the blow, cavity to cavity repeatability across the run, and neck geometry that seals the same on the ten thousandth unit as the first. That is what a pharmaceutical formulation, an agrochemical, or a beverage brand is putting its name on when it puts it on a bottle.
From forged steel to precision PET. The material changed. The standard never did.”
